Arrival in Windhoek
Upon arrival at Windhoek Airport, you are met and transferred to your guesthouse in the Namibian capital. Depending on your arrival time, there is the option to explore Windhoek’s cafés, restaurants and small craft markets before the adventure begins.

Okonjima Nature Reserve
The next morning, you are transferred to the rental depot where you collect your fully equipped Toyota Hilux camping vehicle. Your journey then begins towards the Okonjima Nature Reserve, known for its conservation work and beautiful bush landscapes.
The reserve offers walking trails, wildlife activities and the opportunity to explore the Namibian bush at your own pace.

Onguma Nature Reserve & Eastern Etosha
Continue north towards the Onguma Nature Reserve on the eastern edge of Etosha National Park. The reserve offers excellent wildlife viewing and serves as a quieter alternative to staying directly inside the park. Spend your days exploring Etosha’s waterholes and open plains in search of elephants, lions, giraffes and other wildlife.

Etosha National Park
The journey continues deeper into Etosha National Park to Okaukuejo, famous for its floodlit waterhole, which attracts wildlife throughout the day and evening. Self-drive through the park and enjoy some of Namibia’s best safari experiences with excellent wildlife viewing opportunities around the many waterholes.

Etendeka Mountains
Leaving Etosha behind, you travel into the rugged landscapes of Damaraland. Here, the journey changes from classic camping to a more comfortable glamping-style experience surrounded by dramatic scenery and wide open spaces.
Your stay includes guided activities and full board, offering a comfortable and remote safari experience in one of Namibia’s most scenic regions.

Damaraland
Continue through Damaraland to the region around Mowani Mountain Camp. The area is known for its dramatic rock formations, desert-adapted wildlife and remote atmosphere.
Optional excursions include visits to Twyfelfontein, Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes, as well as guided nature drives through the surrounding landscapes while camping amongst the granite boulders of Damaraland.

Spitzkoppe
Travel onwards to Spitzkoppe, one of Namibia’s most iconic natural landmarks. The granite peaks rising from the desert create one of the country’s most scenic camping locations. Spend time exploring the rock formations, hiking trails and viewpoints, especially during sunrise and sunset when the landscape changes colour dramatically.

Swakopmund
From the desert landscapes of Spitzkoppe, continue to the coastal town of Swakopmund. Here, you swap camping for a comfortable stay in a boutique guesthouse near the ocean.
The town offers a completely different atmosphere with cafés, restaurants and a range of adventure activities including catamaran cruises, quad biking, sandboarding or scenic flights over the desert.

Namib Desert & Sossusvlei Region
Your route continues south into the Namib Desert. Staying in a glamping tent near the dunes offers the perfect balance between comfort and nature while exploring Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon.

Return to Windhoek where you hand back your rental vehicle at the depot. Spend your final evening relaxing at your boutique guesthouse or exploring more of the city before your departure the next day.

Today you drive back to the car rental depot in Windhoek where you return your rental vehicle. Afterwards, you are transferred to Windhoek Airport for your onward flight or journey home.
